unknown shotgun

Hello,

Can anyone identify this single 12 gauge shot gun please? My researches on the internet left me with nothing.

I guess it's a remington rolling block action.

The only marks on the gun is 8257. I guess it's the serial number.

Only the serial, no Remington or patent date?

Just the serial. Those 4 numbers are the only marks.
