Fully Engraved New Model Army Serial Number 93841

Post by John Carlin »

:) As a new member in the UK and my first post, I hope this will read ok.
I have just acquired a Remington New Model Army, serial number 93841. Having read previous posts I checked under the grip and the numbers match. It is very ornate; plated and engraved with 'mother of pearl' grips. The right hand grip has an eagle with outstretched wings. On the left hand side of the breech is a cartouche with ' La Casa De Don Jorge' and on the back strap is engraved, 'Don Jorge A CARRICO'. It is in near mint condition. Is it possible to research this further through the Society and can it be dated through the number. Thank you. John
