My Rifle's Date of Manufacture & Value
I have a Remington Model 700 (243) with a serial number of 150569. Does anyone know what year this was manufactured and/or what the value of my rifle is. I inherited it and don't intend on selling it, I'm just curious.

Check the barrel date codes. They will tell you the month and year it was made. The serial numbers aren't entirely reliable.

It was probably earlier than mid-1965. I have two from November 1965 with serial numbers about 30,000 higher than yours. I have no idea what their production numbers were per month or per year.
