Remington RB pistols

Post by ihc53 »

Have two RB pistols I need help with.

The first is a .22rf target model with adjustable
rear sight, very tall front sight and marked
"P S " and "Remington's Illon, NY. U.S.A.
PAT.May3, Nov.15th 1864 April 17th 1866"
on left hand side of frame. "LRS" is stamped
on the left grip side. Barrel is round with a
bigger diameter section 1/4 from the breech.
Lenght is 10.4 inches measured from muzzle to
breech face.

The second pistol is approx .50 in calibre, has
the same stampings in the same places as the
first pistol except for "US" on the left hand side
of the barrel near the receiver. "LRS" is also
stamped on the left grip panel. Barrel is round
and is 8 inches in lenght measured from the breech
face to the muzzle.

All have excellent bores. What models are they
and what are their approx. worth? I would rate
the finish at 65 to 75 percent blue remaining.
