1858 New Model Serial Number Info

First post and what a great forum!

I am considering purchasing an 1858 New Model. I have a couple I am looking at.

First has serial number 89186. The second one has serial number 93125.

Thought I would check and get some background information on these if any records are available.

According to Don Ware's book, both guns were made in Aug of 1864. Since the number are so high, both guns must be in 44. There isn't much info, or many records so this may be the best you can get. Buy the best condition that you can afford.
