I think NRA good condition in most people minds is slightly over scrap metal, i.e. rusted, cleaned, or reblued, with wood likewise. So lets just go with ballpark in 80% finish and likewise good stock with no major bruises or scratches, $75-80. A good shooter... Collector values only in MINT condition.

After looking at the NRA grading scale I would say this gun is very good plus. If that give you a beter idea it may fall in the excellent category.

Ok, excellent is 80%, from the Blue Book.

100% $175
98% $150
95% $125
90% $ 95
80% $ 80

I think David was looking at the wrong model. The Apache Black Model 76 (lever action) in 80% condition is $425.00 according to the Blue Book. 95% is $550.00. Condition is king for the collectors though.

There were only 1615 Apache Black Model 76s made.
