New from VA. Rem 1100 but not sure what grade or variation

Hello,

I'm new to the RSA forum. Glad to be here. I've been reading through the forum today and found lots of great info. I have tried to find any threads that talk about how to determine what grade and/or variation my shotgun is but can't seem to locate one.

Remington was able to tell me the year from my serial and pointed me to their archive site for a listing of all the grades and variations but what do I need to look for to determine mine? If there is a post here somewhere I would love to find it.
