Hello! I am proud to be a new member of the Remington Society Forum. The info found here is amazing. I have collected for many years with several Remington's in my possession.
I am hoping to find some information on a Remington 600 w/vent rib in .243 cal.
Most information I can gather has the last production serial numbers ending around 94,086.

But my Remington 600 has a Serial Number of 94202 , barrel manufacturing date July 1967.....(Remington Month and Year Letter Code: OP)

It seems like one of the very last Model 600 rifles manufactured before the company switched over to the Model 660.
Can someone shed some light on this Model 600 serial number "over run" please?
