Texan with a #3

A good friend of mine called asking for help with a Remington Hepburn #3 he inherited from his grandfather.

The rifle appears to be in excellent condition, but is missing the rear sight.

I came here to do some homework, and word is this is THE PLACE.

Hope you can put up with another noob asking the usual questions while wandering aimlessly around the Forum!
