New member from CNY

Hello from Central New York State. I just acquired an old Remington Model 30 Express in .30 Rem. It has a 4 digit serial number without any letters in front of the numbers. I was hoping someone on here could tell me an approximate age on it. The serial number is 7945. it's in decent shape, the bluing is worn but the stock is nice. I have some pics also. Thank you!
