Remington model 600 Mohawk in 308 caliber. serial number is 6836563. does anybody know when it was made and approximately how much it is worth. It is a bold action, gold trigger and in very good condition. Thank you looking forward to your response

This should tell you:

https://www.remingtonsociety.org/manufacture-dates/

Probably early-mid '70s.....before 1975. I have two, one in .222 with a similar description that was made in June 1974 and another in .243 made in August 1974. Mine both have slightly lower serial numbers than yours. Around 1975, they started putting an "A" prefix on the serial numbers and I have one of those in .6mm Rem made in August 1977.
I think they had a recall somewhere back in time and replaced some gold triggers with black ones. My .222 still has the gold trigger and the .243 has the black trigger.
We don't give out values on the forum. Too many unknowns to guess.
I always wanted to add a .308 to my collection, but never could find one around here......and now I'm too old and don't care.
