Joe : It's a receiver pin/plug which was part of the asssembly final steps used to hold the receiver/lower when the part was finished/milled for the finished slide rails and trigger installation. Usually left in the frame and still with the frame when it has been stripped like yours is. Find one an...

Hi all : Maybe the wrong place to post ... but .. if it is MOD or MODS ,,,,,, pls move to the correct place here at RSA I have a Rem 51 32 acp very good condition breechblock and extractor ( not installed ) that I will be listing on some of the auction sites in a day or so, if no one here wants it....

If you do the complete disassembly and re -assembly and get it working again.. and it shoots...then let us know....

That factory parts and semi disassembly and re –assembly guide that was sent to you doesn't fully go into a complete " parts off frame " breakdown

Deal : Unless you personally have done a COMPLETE disassembly of one of these before...my advice to you is... DON'T!!! If you do get your Rem 51 completely broken down into each part..and then can't remember how to put it ALL back together..or have a lost part due to the disassembly process.... A s...

Deal : Looks like step one... Remove the slide/barrel/breechblock ( if still there ) all in one piece, gives you viewing access to the frame,, safety looks like it's in the incorrect position.
