Re: Alf Reickhoff / Malvern Remington No 4 .22 Need to date

I'm not sure that is a high serial?

They started in 1890 and by end of 1905 they had made 163884.
Simple math (best you can guess) puts that in 1894 or 1895 considering a slow / later start.

Re: Fieldmaster 121 - 1947?

There's a serial list on site but for a 121 you are much better with the data code on the barrel, I just don't know how accurate the list is. https://www.remingtonsociety.org/manufacture-dates/ People typically won't give values without a gun in hand for anything, your best best for value is to look...

AlanD wrote: Sat Apr 18, 2020 6:31 pm Currently the on line journal search only allows searches up to the end of 2017.
Will these be up-dated at some pint to cover 2018 and 2019.

Regards

AlanD
We lost our volunteer who kept that updated many years ago, I'll catch it up when I can hopefully soon.

Re: Model 12 feeding issue

Hi all- I’m trying to get my dad’s old Model 12 back into shooting condition. I’m not a gunsmith and this is the first rifle I’ve ver taken apart. The issue is that the bolt seems to lock halfway open when it’s feeding a round. It also sometimes locks at the same location when the bolt is being clo...
