Reloadable .32 cases are available. I have and use a No.4 rolling block in .32 rimfire using .22 blanks as primers. You simply put the blank in the base, fill with black powder allowing space to seat a .32 ball or bullet. I use bullets from a .31 Colt mold. Great fun.

Re: Help identifying rolling block
You ask about value. A rifle of a known calibre would always be more valuable than an unknown one.

Re: Rem #6 falling block loading.
I load .32 rimfire for my No.4 Rolling Block. I get the best results by using my Colt .31 mold. I use both round ball and conical and they both work well.

Re: rear sight
I have done just that but can find nothing on-line and don't have facilities to check with trade directories etc. of the period.
Never mind it doesn't detract from a fine rifle.

Re: rear sight
I have a NYS Rolling block in very good condition and nothing special apart from a presentation plate fixed to the butt stock with the words 'Presented by W.E ROLFE' in an oval silver plate. Does this mean anything to anyone? Have not been able to find anything on W. E. Rolfe, does it say who it wa...

Re: Snap caps for 35 Remington?
I have used both Epoxy resin and hot glue for making snap caps for .303 Lee Enfield rifles to practice for McQueen competitions with no ill effects. For the McQueen competitions I have to cycle 10 round magazines very quickly.

Re: Snap caps for 35 Remington?
My way of making snap caps is both cheap and quick. I take a fired case, decap it and fill the primer hole with either epoxy resin and with a hot glue gun. Wait for the resin to set/ glue to cool and you have a snap cap. Foe rifles that I wish to action a magazine I fit a bullet. For rifle that I ju...

The Egyptian Rolling Block was made with both and had a case/rim size the same as the 50/70.

Re: Identifying a rolling block
In the UK, because of our strange licensing laws and the fact that a .32 rimfire can be owned with no formality, they fetch good money. The only one advertised over here is priced at £750. I have and shoot one. It was originally sold by ' L&W Mc Cartny' in Dunedin, New Zealand. It is solid frame...

Re: Another Rolling Block
The light stock would be correct for a Rolling block from Norway or Sweden. I thing it's Arctic Birch.
I have 3 Swedish rifles and carbines and the all have light wood. Personally I like the look of it pariculaly on Military Rolling Blocks.
