721-B in 30-06 Springfield, Serial number 347342, no barrel code, stock fancy wood barrel channel marked B and HC, rear of receiver drilled and dovetail slot for rear site.

722 in 257 Roberts, serial number 236291, barrel code OYY July 1952, stock has fancier wood and checkering and barrel channel marked with HC, rear receiver drilled and dovetail rear site .

Your right and I did see that but see how one A is bigger than the other. I hadn't seen date codes that were different sized !! I have seen them partially stamped and not lined up straight but not different sizes ?? I stand corrected ! Thanks John Taylor

I believe 1962 and 63 mod 700 Safari's were probably the least produced models other than maybe the high grades from the custom shop D and F grades. John Taylor
