Your right and I did see that but see how one A is bigger than the other. I hadn't seen date codes that were different sized !! I have seen them partially stamped and not lined up straight but not different sizes ?? I stand corrected ! Thanks John Taylor

Model 722-AC, 222rem, No barrel code, Serial # 342196, 26" barrel, Barrel channel stamped with AC and HC. Dovetail for rear site and rear of receiver drilled.

I believe 1962 and 63 mod 700 Safari's were probably the least produced models other than maybe the high grades from the custom shop D and F grades. John Taylor
