Re: Model 700 - 350 Rem Mag

There were around 1100 made in 1969 only along with about the same amount of 6.5MM REM MAG cal made 1969 only but they were sold thru 1973. What they are worth would depend strongly depend on condition but from what I have seen lately I would say some where around $700 on into the low $teens..Hopefu...

Re: model 700 carbine

Well you have I think the most popular caliber and it would depend on condition but if it were pretty good say $400.00 to $650.00 but don't bank on that..... I will bett in 20 years the 20" barrel guns will be up a lot higher... That is if we still have our guns !!!!!!!!!!!!! John

Re: model 700 carbine

Well the serial# is right- the stock sounds right-and I belive the front sights were brazed on a lot of the larger calibers thru 1968 ... What caliber is yours ??? It sounds correct ... John

Re: model 700 carbine

I am no expert but from what I have read and learned they never sold it or called it a carbine but from 1962 to around the end of 1964 some calibers were made in only 20" barrels... 30-06 270 243 222 222REM MAG 280 and 6MM as far as I know.. I think that would be up to approximately 118000 seri...

Re: 722C ??

I think that is some kind of customized gun.. The front checkering panel doesn't look right nor have I ever seen a 722 with a capped pistol grip and it also looks like the bolt handel has been swept up a bit !!! Back to the " C " question.. I wonder if that would mean it came from the Remi...

Re: 722C ??

I have a few 722s and 721s and from what I have read and found thru taking the ones I have apart there are no Cs...I have a couple 721 Bs and those have fancy grain wood and are checkered and are marked B by hand after the 721 on recevier and they are marked or stamped B in the stocks barrel channel...

It just dosen't make sence to me why some one would refinish a gun in such good shape! Most always when a stock is ready for ref...
