Re: shot countg
I would measure bore and choke and back track with that information. Pretty much "over stamped".

Remington Double Shotguns by Charles Semmer's - Chapter IV "Lifter Models of 1878 and 1879 features a Heavy Duck version as described by Mike above. I own #277, it weighs a hefty 9.50 lbs and feels like a heavy duck gun!

Re: Right side 1889 parts
Very cool restoration, not too many 16's show up! Are you sure your parts needed aren't cross over to the 12 gauge? I have a 16 gauge grade 1 for reference if need be.

Re: Remington Model 1894 Pigeon and Trap Guns
2shooter, Art McKee's list would be very interesting indeed! He did a wonderful job on the catalog re-prints- I bought from him in the 80's. I have 2 C grade Pigeon Shooters and one FE that I like to shoot. One is also in Charles book. I will PM to you. Thank you for the posting- Mike Dave_ Reseache...

Remington Model 1894 Pigeon and Trap Guns
The Model 1894 Hammerless was made from 1894-1910 with 41,194 guns produced. I have been "banking" serial numbers as I can find guns on auction sites, sales catalogs or listings or other sources such as Charles Semmers "Remington Double Shotguns". Lots of photos show grips with n...

I had heard that the Remington Model 31's were used in gunnery training. Does your 31 seem like it has been shot a lot?

Re: Remington Model 32 Shotguns
Revived this old thread for 32 opinions. My oldest son won a Model 32 Skeet gun this week on an auction, he asked me out of the 5,400 32's made how many would I guess were actual Skeet guns? The receiver is marked Skeet, has a 26" barrel and matted barrel top. Any guesses as per trap, field and...

Remington "lightweight" Hammerless SxS's?
Beautiful all original Remington Model 1894 DE Grade 12 bore - lightweight game gun in untouched condition! Weight: 6lbs 11.5oz This listing notes the 1894 as a lightweight? I have a 12 bore 1900 KED that weighs about the same as my 16 gauge KED (12 is 6.52 and 16 is 6.34). My other 1894/1900's all ...

Colorado Springs Gun Show
I read that The Remington Society will have a presence at the Colorado Gun Collectors show. Do you have a booth/table number? With 822 tables I don't want to miss yours.
