Have a 14 in 35 Rem. My first 14/141. Won't regret it. Just got it and taking it to the deer woods! And just got a tang sight for it. Can't wait to get it mounted.

Re: Model 14 with ammo - Didn't realize what I had.

If you wanted to part with a cpl boxes of the ammo separately, there is a guy looking for 30 Rem...

I am tempted to try and talk you out of a cpl boxes just in case I run into a 30 Rem...

Re: Model 14 with ammo - Didn't realize what I had.

The ammo will def go a long way towards selling the rifle. I had a chance at one of the Std Mdl 14s in 30 Rem for a great price, but passed. I wanted a rifle I could shoot a good bit and hunt with and nobody knew where to find any ammo.

Re: Model 14 sight evolution...

Thanx Jim. Still learning about the 14/141s. Def NOT going to drill the 14 I got from you. And IF I were to find the tang sight, prob way above what I am willing to pay for it. I have one of the bbl dovetail Skinner peep sights mounted on a Henry 22 rifle. I prefer the same sight over the receiver, ...

WTB 14/141 in 35 Remington

Nothing fancy - want a shooter that I don't mind taking into the brush to kill a deer - as it was intended! Maybe I can do better here than on Gunbroker. Thanx

Re: Tons of questions about my model 14 purchased yesterday!

simple answer - you suck! Because you now have one and I don't - yet! Seriously - Congrats! I have been trying to get a 141 35 Rem w/in my budget and so far missing them when I probably should just pony up a few more bucks. I will eventually get one. Hope yours shoots great!

Re: Noob

Finally bit the bullet on the scope. Pulled the Griffin and Howe mount, which I really liked, but too low for newer scope. Put a set of Talley mounts on it (is factory D&T for scope mounts) and a Nikon 2x7-32 scope on it. Perfect setup for the 300 Savage pump. Sadly leaves three big ugly empty s...

Re: WTB - 760 sling attachment part

Ended up buying a set of drill stop collars, drilling and tapping correct size for a sling stud and using that in conjunction with a "cone" donut washer for the shotgun sling swivel kits for the 760. Should work fine.

Wow! Very Nice! 222 Rem? Scope and mount setup?

And what sling is that? Would be very interested in one for my Win 75 target rifle. Thanx

Your '52 is drilled for top mount bases?[/quote

I apologize! Checked my notes. My gun is actually manufactured in 1953! And it is factory D&T. Sorry for the confusion!
