The grips look, to me, like some type of bone, which was not used on Smoots. The phoney Ivory grips were Celluloid with a metal backing.......Jim

DUPLICATE SERIAL NUMBERS

Authors and collectors have discussed Remington Revolvers made in batches.
Does anyone have proof of this? I believe they were referencing large frame models................Jim
