sorry for the necro thread, but what front sight would an original wheel sight gun have had? Anyone know? My rifle is 1913 production in 32 rem, if that helps. Long ago someone stuck a Marbles No.5 in there.

Does anyone have access to a redfield jr-14 scope mount base?

I’m looking for some measurements, like the height of the base, length, and location of the screw holes measured from one of the ends.

I can’t find one for sale, so need measurements to mill another base to a close approximation.

I picked up a 1913 production model 14 in 32 Remington I need help with.

Gun is missing original butt, rear sight and magazine screw. Rest is there and while finish worn, is sound. Bore is about an 8/10.

I have a semi inlet butt on the way, though not sure what buttplate would have come on a ...
