Hi just joined here..I bought my first Remington Rifle..I think it is a little #6, but not 100% sure..The barrel is marked with a serial number on the underside of the barrel just in front of the forearm S 269723

Underside of the stock is marked with the same serial number..The old Rife does NOT ...
