Remington Model 30 Express

Hello all!! Just picked up a Remington Model 30 Express in 30 Remington. Made in 1926 with an excellent bore and a Weaver K2.5 scope with a post reticle in an E C Herkner Echo quick detach side mount and Lyman peep sight. Is there any reference books on these rifles ? Anyone have in info on how many ...

Re: Obsolete Caliber Brass & Bullets / .25, .30, .32, & .35 Remington

Good suggestion sir!

I’ve been shooting a 30 Rem for 25 years and have acquired a great deal of brass and factory ammo. I think I have 22 boxes of factory ammo currently. I try to buy 32 Rem brass when possible and affordable. I buy Hornady or Speer 358” and .321” bullets when I see them. I have a ...

Re: Forum activity

John, I say post away! I am very much in your camp! I too received a Model 11 from my grandpa when I was 13. It was his dads! (It was made in 1910, btw). I also enjoy pics of peoples collections and talking about the minuscule details, especially on hand loading for the 30 and 32 Rem cartridges ...

Re: Forum activity

How do you all think I feel? I’m only a 49 year old pup but have been collecting 14’s,141’s,8’s and 81’s for over 20 years! Currently only one model 8 and one 81, but three 141’s and a lone 14. Nobody my age has any interest in my old stuff. Even the older people at my gun club usually have never ...

I’ve held one. A 20 ga . Rough to say the least. Wood fit to reciever was awful. But hopefully they get their act together.

Re: Rem 141 highest serial number

My 141 in 32 is shoots ridiculously small groups for the type of gun it is. I’ve occasionally gotten 5 shots in just over an inch at 100 yards and iron sights. Makes me giggle! It does have a perfect bore, so that helps.

Another 141 has appeared on GB, this time sn 78118 and possibly unique because ...

Rem 141 highest serial number

Howdy all, I was on GB and there is a 141 in .30 that is sn 78278 and another 141 in .35 sn 78916 just sold last week. According to Ken Blauch’s book, the last known 141 was sn 76881. Just an interesting find.

On a side note , I personally own two 141’s, sn 1955 in 35 and sn 31794 in 32.

Howdy all,
Great website, I'm already on The Great Model 8 site and thought I'd join over here too. I not only have an 8 and 81 but a couple 141's, a 14, model 11, and a couple 1960's vintage 870's. Basically I'm a Remington fan of their products from about 1906-1970. My Model 11 12 ga started it ...
