1100s had two D springs for decades. I don't remember when the 11-87 dropped one and indeed the new 1100s might have one as well, I just don't remember. You only need one unless you are so ham handed you can't get it in the gun assembled without two.

Trigger Plate Pin Detent Springs: 11-87

I cleaned the 11-87 the other day, and discovered only 1 front detent spring in trigger assembly. The schematic appears to show 2 front, and 1 rear. Do I need another front spring? A fellow on youtube says there is only 1 required.

The barrel appears to match the receiver. They look to be blued. I've attached pics.

Greetings from a novice shotgun owner. I just bought an 11-87 Premier, 12 ga, used. Could someone clarify a couple of things, if possible? This gun doesn't seem to have a 2-letter date code on the barrel. Does that place its DOB in the 1999-2001 period when they stopped stamping the barrel? The ...
