Apparently this is an early number for the Model 11.

So noted. Probably not worth much then? I'll throw it back in the safe.

Here are some pictures. The barrel is marked 38 under the forearm as well. No rust, no pits. It does look as if there is the smallest of cracks in the forearm. Thank you so much for the information.
