HI, I just got my hands on a nice 1887 that was partially restored...I am in need of a genuine set of hammers for it. It seems the last owner or whoever worked on it , dremel tool (adjusted) a different set of hammers for it. Thankfully, he did not mess with the lock stud. Any ideas of where to scro...

The hammers are softer than the lock square they bolt to.

So, No the lock is undamaged as far as I can tell.

I will purchase any 1887 Hammers you have. I have one that someone put replacement hammers on and they are ugly repro's.

I would be happy with Left or right or both any condition.
