PRR stamped on the right side of the barrel indicates June, 1946. 3 months older than I am.

Thank you for the information. I was looking into a full restoration for this gun but it looks like it doesn’t make financial sense. I had a gunsmith check it over to be sure it is safe to shoot. I put new springs and friction rings in the gun. Now I need to give it a try with different loads to see...

Date this sn please

I haven’t been able to date an A5. “Browning” and the sn is stamped on the side of the receiver. It does have the magazine cutoff. Browning A 5 sn B27xxx
Any help would be appreciated.
