Re: Searching for Remington Gamemaster 760 BDL 5 Diamond Forend for 270

Out of curiosity, on the receiver, where 760 is stamped, is BDL stamped after that?

Remington 141 carbine question

Hello, I recently inherited a model 141 carbine 32 rem caliber, the receiver is marked 141 gamemaster and the barrel is marked 14-r. Serial number is 38XXX and was make in December of 1941, my question is the rear sight is the thumbwheel variety and the very few carbines I did find were the semi buc...

Re: Remington 760 35 rem carbine

I don't check on here often and just saw your post, thank you very much for the interesting history on Roland Coleman! I talked to Remington who confirmed the serial number to be linked to him but they would not give me any other information unfortunately. The action is very smooth!

Re: Remington 760 35 rem carbine

Yes, I have read that article and own the collectors book by Eugene Myszkowski. I was just reaching out on here to see if someone knew something that I didn't already know. I know exactly what this gun is I was just hoping someone could point in the right direction on documentation.

Remington 760 35 rem carbine

Hello, I purchased this very peculiar remington a couple months ago and was wondering if anyone could help me get some documentation for it because remington was not much help. This is what i am assuming is most likely a one of one configuration, built for Roland H Coleman in 1972. Only 456 remingto...

Re: Early Remington 760

I also have a 223. It is the rarest of the 760 series with only 2,723 made from 1964-1969. I found my extra magazine on gunbroker for $25. Just have to keep an eye out and get lucky really. The coolest part about the 760 in 223 is that is was the first commercial hunting gun produced in that chamber...

Early Remington 760

Hello, I am new here! I am a collector of remington 760s and 7600s. I recently purchased a January of 1952 BYY 30-06 serial number 1035. I know the first serial number ever was 1001. Has anyone come across anything earlier than this? The stock is serial numbered to the gun as well. It is not drilled...
