Re: Remington Model 1894 Pigeon and Trap Guns
That is one of the finest engravings I have seen on a box lock anywhere from USA, German, Britain and Spain. Remingtons are certainly under appreciated.

Re: 1894 BE Restoration
I think you are confusing me with Canvasback but none-the-less I have all my Remington work done by Terry Deem in Ohio. He may have some of the parts you are looking for.

Re: 1894 BE Restoration

I do not find the layout of the relationship from the cheek checkering to the arrow head to the checkering on the wrist to be all that symmetrical and is unpleasing to my eye. I took your picture in Illustrator and tried to connect the points which I think should aline and couldn't achieve ...

Choke Measurement in 1889
I have a grade 3 1889 mfg 1904 marked 394 on the right barrel and 396 on the left. That is 77% indicating a choke of full and full. However my measurements show something slightly different. Both barrels at 9" measure .732 and at the muzzle are .705. That would indicate an Improved Modified by ...

Non-toxic is required. You can being 200 of your own and I would need to pre-order from the US.

Waterfowl Hunt with your Vintage SxS
I operate a waterfowl outfitting/guiding business in Alberta, CA. I'm wondering if I was to set up a special discounted hunt where everyone was required to use a vintage SxS would there be any interest.

"These weapons were designed for smokeless powder"
This statement seems to be in contradiction of Researchers ad from 1904 where the top wording says, "Guaranteed for Nitro Powder".
Which is it?

1889 Serial Number vs Other Numbers
I have a Grade 3 1889 serial number 243907. Instead of the serial number on all the parts the number 478 is on the butt, forearm, receiver and barrels. Was the norm to number the parts different than the serial number?

Re: F Trap Gun Problems
Your other question about main and ejector spring being related yes when fired that main spring trips the ejector to eject the shell.
Is this an all or nothing mechanism? I can understand a broken or weak mainspring but don't understand how that would relate to a weak ejector all of a sudden. If ...

Re: F Trap Gun Problems
I am using hand reloads but in the thousands of rounds I've made these are the only 2 that have failed so I don't blame in on the loads. As well when shot out of the left barrel they ignited no problem.
I don't understand what taking off the forearm and shooting the barrel will achieve?
Are the ...

F Trap Gun Problems
I was shooting trap with my F Trap gun and the 1/2 box out of the right barrel went well and ejection was ok. Then the ejection went soft and I had 2 misfires because the hammer did not fall hard enough. Left a small dent on the primer but not enough to ignite. I had no problem in the left barrel ...
