So someone has put a barrel on mine. Receiver says gallery special. 4 digit serial number

The gun serial numbers match 8393 on bottom of reciever and stamped inside the part that comes off.it has gallery special stamped on side of reciever and it says 22 short long and 22 long rifle on round barrel.thanks

where is serial on barrel? the barrel is stamped 22 short and 22 long

I called Remington. They say both barrels was available in 1909. It has gallery special on reciever. And 4 digit serial

Did all gallary special's model 12 have octogan barrells. I have one that has round barrell and serial is 8534. thanks manny
