Remington 512 - No SN ??

I was visiting a local on-line auction this afternoon, and was the unsuccessful bidder on what I was really interested in. However, I was watching as this Model 512 came up (with Lyman Sites) and picked it up for what I hope was a decent price. My question is this, it was old enough that it does not...

Re: WWII Model 11 Riot Gun - Unissued?

Looks like several folks want this Model 11 really bad. $4500 with 10 days to go.

Remington Model 700 Question

A friend has a 50 year old model 700 (.222) and heard that these older rifles may have had systemic trigger problems. Any one familiar with this issue.

WWII Model 11 Riot Gun - Unissued?

I purchased this last week at a local auction and it's my only WWII era shotgun. Date on the barrel (MM) reflects 1943, but I'm not sure what the character is that represents the month, maybe one of you guys can help me out on that. Per Bruce Canfield's shotgun book it looks like a legitimate WWII r...

Remington M1903 & 1917 - Comments?

I recently picked up a couple of interesting rifles you might want to see. One is a Model 1917 and the other is a M1903. Since you guys are the experts on Remingtons, I'd like to get your feedback. http://s1281.photobucket.com/user/jemisonh/library/Remington%201917?sort=3&page=1 http://s1281.pho...

Re: Remington 1903A3 & WWII Lend Lease Program

Bill. Thanks so much for taking time to reply to my question. Everything I've read supported what you just said, to include "An Illustrated Guide to the '03 Springfield Rifle" that I was just rereading minutes before I read your post. I was most impressed to see your name mentioned in the ...

I've scanned through some of the older threads and didn't see any other posts on Remington 1903A3's. Are their any forum members other than my self who own them?

Remington 1903A3 & WWII Lend Lease Program

New Member here and I have a question about my Remington 1903A3 (May 1943), as it relates to 1903s sent to New Zealand during WWII, and an article written for this society by William R. Hansen about Red Star 1903s. My 1903A3 has a New Zealand Lend Lease Stock (NZ8387) and the rifles SN is 3862290. T...

New Members From Florida

Hello. New member from Florida here and was really glad to find this forum. I've got a couple of questions about my Remington 1903A3 (May 1943) that has a New Zealand Lend Lease stock and I'd like some feedback about whether it's actually a Lend Lease or a rifle with a replaced stock. I'll post a fe...
