Presently I have all grades of the 1889 but grade 5. Would like to buy one if there is one out there for sale I prefer one in 80 - 90% condition but would consider all.

Re: 1894 on Gunbroker
I received the shotgun on the 18th and found that the left tube ejector was broken. Seller said that he would repair it but was wondering if it would be possible to find one that would be the same. I have 2 other 1894 ejectors but they are different

Re: 1894 on Gunbroker
Charlie, it appears that my last reply did not go through. Thank you and "researcher" for your information. I have your book and will have the picture of the plate but thanks. I tried to contact you via the internet before I bought the gun but not being internet savvy I failed. I have coll...

Serial # is 100202. I bought the shotgun but still would like the information. I will try to post the link but if I am unsuccessful here is the item number. 308385893. It would be under closed auctions by now I am sure.

1894 on Gunbroker
Nice looking EE grade but the grade is not stamped on either of the flats. Also, it has been drilled for a sling. Does this sound factory?

Rem 341
I recently acquired a Model 341 with a group of guns I purchased. When I tried to fire it I found that it would not elevate the cartridge properly to align it with the chamber. Upon disaasembly I found that it was missing the carrier friction assembly which I purchased assuming that was the problem....

Re: #4 Rolling Block
Depending on how it is read it is either a Z or an N ahead of the forearm. It is a Z if stamped in the same way as the serial number or an N if turned 90 degrees. There are also several letters on the bottom barrel flat at the breech. There is a J a Y and a smaller letter p at the breech and a littl...

Thank you! Are there any books or literature out there that will give dates of manufacture?

Mystery pistol
Need some ID help. A friend of mine has a percussion pistol that appears to be altered from a musket. Looks like an 1816. The lockplate is dated 1857 US Remington Ill. and has the Maynard primer. The barrel is dated 1856 and the top of the breech stamped City of Philada in a half circle over A. Werf...
