I have a couple guns one a 1900 with damascus barrels. How was the pattern put on these guns? You can see some pattern in places on both guns but the barrels are mostly shiny with no pattern. I heard gun oil and chaulk would clean up a pattern but what if you don't see much pattern?

Looking for a set of shooting barrels for my 1900 16ga. damascus gun. The ones i have are swelled at the end and i do not want to cut them.

Thanks for the info. I also saw the simularities in the 16ga. guns. And put mine under a magfnifying glass and it is XKEDX. But don't yet know what the H or the 7 means. I will invest in the book as i would some day like to have a set of the 1900s. Got the 16 now need 12 and 10ga.

Had another question i forgot about. What is the difference between 1900 guns marked Q and not marked? Mine is not but a friend has Q373211 which is older than my 386351.

Thanks. This will help somewhat. I kind of thought by the ser#. and what I knew about the ser#. sequense that it was a kind of late issue.
