Nice wood with very nice figure and appears to be well done,however Remington never made any that looked anything like this. I have “C” “D” and “F” grade wood on model 12-14 - 141 - 25’s all with factory wood. Also Remington would send a nice buttstock with a plane forearm.

Viking, I was fortunate to pick upa first year mod. 14 that was a consecutive numbered gun to go with one i already had. Proud owner of sn,# 1720. And 1721. Not for sale. Neither is mint about 85%. Managed to take a deer with 1720 couple of years ago. Good luck in your quest.

I'll put my money that the stock is a Harry Lawson 1960's stock. The barrel eng. was probably done when the stock was replaced. Guarantee you Remington never put any wood or just eng. on the barrel like that out. The stock screams 1960's Weatherby look a like.
