Re: 43 Spanish Rolling Block Load Data

Like the AA 5744 load. My most accurate was IMR 3031. I have used IMR 4198 with good results.
Sorry, but I will not give exact load data.
Want to try some Norma 200.

Re: Reloading .43 Remington Spanish

I've been shooting my 43 Spanish (Argentinian) that has a .445 bore for a long time. I went to Western Bullet and bought the 43 Mauser bullet in .446. Cast the chamber and bore.

Re: Mod 572 Fieldmaster

I'm not sure what part you are talking about. Go to http://www.brownells.com/schematics/Rem ... sid81.aspx and find the part. The rifle is easy to repair. Please be safe and don't shoot it until you repair your rifle.

I think a little talk about the new rifles is important. This subject has gotten more response than any I've seen on this forum in years. I love my Remington 22's and that includes the new ones. I picked up a 504, s.n. 79x, when they first came out. I used the "x" because I foregot the las...

Mod. 121 Skeetrap Rifle

I've only seen one and I had already bought another Rem rifle. It was sold before I could recoup my cash flow. When I inspected it I couldn't tell what makes this barrel different than the smoothbore. I know the barrel is an inch longer than the normal 24", but I couldn't inspect the heck...

You just missed one on Gunbroker. How clean is clean? Finding one that hasn't been through the gallery, so to speak, is rare and expensive. Most have seen tough times hooked up to the carney's bench and they weren't taken care of. Lot's of black powder rounds were used in them so the mark couldn't s...

Christian, You may have a Model 3 Military :?: The Model 3 Military has a lever on the side but, it drops the action, it's a falling block rifle. And as far as I know the Militay was not built in 22, but that never stopped the Remington custom shop. If the lever on you action is a take down lever, I...

It has to be a Model 4, but the stock it different. The only Modlel 4's that I've seen with the fore end extened that close to the muzzel was the Model 4 Boy Scout and Military model. But both of those were solid frame, no take down lever, have an upper fore end stock and ladder type sights. Look to...

I gave $550.00 U.S. for a Model 4 in mint condition with the case. It is close to the same number range, but I haven't done a search for the date yet. I think the 20's would be close. I don't even know how you would begin to send this rifle from South Africa to the U.S. It's a shame that such fine f...

The X's were built from 1964-67, 18,088 made. They took the Nylon bolt action sites and put it on these rifles so it has windage and elevation adjustments. They had to raise the front site to compensate for the higher rear site. Nice, fun rifles to shoot. Only collectable in like new condition. Have...

Hi, How's the weather in Sweden? This is a question that would take volumes. It just so happens that there are volumes written about it. Check out the publication section on the home page. A couple of books I think will answer all your questions are, "Remington, America's Oldest Gunmaker" ...

Hi Mary, The "Blue Book" is a good place to start. I have seen some very low and high prices in that book. It is the best way to find the true condidtion of a firearm, follow the grading section closley. Remember that there is a antique and modern grading system. I think a good way to find...

Hi, The 521T (TL) was introduced in 1947 and discontinued in 1968. About 66,000 were made. It used the same action as the 511 and was a junior or intermediate target rifle. It had the same stock as the 513T. The government bought about 1800 of them for marksmanship training program. That was the fir...

It's been a while since I've talked to Fellers, but you've reminded me to not give up on him. He told me I was one of the few people that he didn't have a sight for. He even had the changable front sights and hood for my Mauser 22.

Thanks :D

Model 4 Boy Scout sight.

I want to buy a Remington Model 4 Boy Scout rear sight. I think the #4 Military has the same sight. Any help would be great, the sight would be better.
