Re: Ammo & Brass for the Model 14/141
MidwayUSA has Remington 170 gr Core-Lokt "30-30" Winchester bullets in stock. They are the round nose soft points that are (were?) used in Remington's 30 Remington cartridges too. First time in a long time that I've found them in stock.

Re: .32 remington ammo
Finding new bullets to reload into your brass is not the easiest thing in the world at this time. So many are out of stock and no reorders allowed. Brass for any of the 25, 30 & 32 REM is real hard to find at the moment and guys with 35 REM rifles are even having a hard time finding that ammo. S...

Re: Model 14 with ammo - Didn't realize what I had.
These guys had 30 REM in stock the last time I was there. Not the cheapest ammo when found.

Re: Remington model 14 in .30remington
.30 Rem brass has been hard to find during these "shortage" years. I picked up new brass from Huntington a year or two ago and haven't seen new brass in stock anywhere since then. Sometimes you can get lucky and find rounds of .30 Rem 150 or 170 gr loads at LGS's. A couple of small compani...

Re: Can I use +P ammo in my 1955 Model 722 .257 Roberts?
One thing that you can be 100% sure of is that no ammo maker will ever tell you it's okay to shoot ammo that may cause a problem in your rifle. Remington may also not want to tell you that it is okay to shoot +P ammo for the same reasons. Lawyers and law suits. It is up to you (and your gunsmith) to...

Re: Remington Mod 14 .32 cal.
I found 100 30 Remington brass cases at Huntington Die recently, they had them listed for a day on their new website (don't know if it was a mistake or not). I ordered them and waited and waited for shipping notice. Had to email them and they dug around and found 100 and shipped them. You might be a...

Re: Model 14 / Rounds & Follower Exiting Through Loading Gat
I wonder if a Marlin lever gun's follower could be made to work? Brownell's (plus eBay and others) have them for .357 mag & .44 mag tubes.

Re: Remington Mod 14 .32 cal.
I know Reeds has 32 Remington listed. A few other second tier ammo makers most likely loads it too. Some may reform 30 Remington brass and then load it. Something that you can do too if you're into reloading.

Re: Remington Model 14 .30 Rem
Nambujim is the man to contact. Do a search and you'll see that he knows more about these guns than Remington does these days.

Re: MODEL 14 & 141 RELOADING/CRIMPING / Bulletin #9
Jim, thanks for the information on what will and won't work in these guns. I do have 3 boxes of old 30 Remington Western silvertips and a box of old Core-lock's, but don't know if I should shoot them or sell them to collectors and pocket some cash. I was hoping to pick up some new 30 Remington...

Re: Nambujim strikes again !!
Rather than start a new thread, I'll add that I also just got my inherited 30 Rem Model 14 back all fixed up by Nanbujim. There was more wrong with it than I knew, but I kind of expected that. Gun's been in the family for at least 70 years and might have been purchased new or nearly new by my dad.

Re: Model 141?
I got a Model 14 in 30 Remington handed down to me too. Most of my rounds were spotted with green and nasty looking. I tried to shoot some of the better stuff and each case split. Tossed it all out. Some of that old stuff had brass that wasn't up to today's standards and storage makes all the differ...
