Re: XP-100
Well I contacted Remington repair and asked them about the trigger balance. I asked them if they would explain it purpose etc. All I got back was a terse reply saying they do not recommend shooting any Remington product with out all the parts being in place. They also gave me the name of a gun shop ...

Re: Rem. Mod 7 and Mod 700 actions- what is difference
Thanks guys! That is what I thought but wanted to be sure. At this point the son has decided to put the .243 project off. He found a Kimber 84 in .260 Rem with Leupold scope that he bought instead.

Rem. Mod 7 and Mod 700 actions- what is difference
What is different between these two actions besides length? My son is trying to build a .243 Varmint gun and asked me if there was a difference, other than length. What say you all? Thanks!

Hi Guys/Gals:
I am an old gun nut. I have a few Remington keepers such as an XP100. Mod. 700 Classic in .221Fireball and a couple of competition 870's in TC trap and 410 Skeet. I like Remingtons! I have many other guns but am fond of the above.
