odd color nylon 22 rifles
Let me start by saying I live in Wilmington,DE the home of DuPont. Over the years a few of my friends have seen unusual colored nylon 66 rifles. One friend was given a white stocked nylon 66 by a friend. The gun was reported to have been given for superior sales of rifles by factory sales people. Th...

Re: Model 51 .32ACP
Banks.... I just reread this post..... I was wondering if you have tried a 1903 Colt Hammerless? My friend got me interested in them. They were the rage with prohibition gangsters and are a great feeling handgun. They have almost all the same features with great weight in hand and pocket. It has bee...

If you are the person who has had a pump rifle marked PREMIER at several gun shows at the Shriners show in Delaware ..... I have told you several times that that gun is NOT a Remington. I think it to be a savage or stevens

Re: Can any one tell me what model this rifle is?
Falig's was a large gun shop in Millvale,PA. Circa 1950-1970. They had a large custom shop and advertized back in the '60s and modified and sold custom FN rifles. If we could see more of the top of the action I'd bet it is an FN rifle.

Re: Remington 12C NRA Target
Mr Gyde it does say NRA TARGET and has no rear dovetail in the barrel. However the last one I saw had a more bazaar front sight. More like the wind gauge one in your book. ....

Remington 12C NRA Target
Today I picked up a Model 12C NRA Target at a small show. The serial # range has it as early 1918. I have only seen a couple NRAs. This one has a Lyman globe target sight that has a removable aperture. A knurled ring unscrews to remove the insert. Is this correct?.... While here... I have a lead on ...

Re: Remington Model 12 Ejector Spring
Deacon... Sorry I am late replying but I forgot my password. Mine slams the case as I mentioned in my post. Mine was not ejecting properly for 2 reasons. 1st I recleaned the gun as everyone mentioned even though it looked clean. Some additional crud came out. Then I used the action handle as if I we...

Re: MODEL 121 S..... or 12 CS Remington Special Caliber
This gun is in an auction tomorrow. It was poorly worded. I am going to call and try to get more info as the auction is a 2 hour ride. Aside from a Colt lightning rifle in 44-40 there isn't much else interesting. Actually I was wondering about how many 121 special calibers were built. I have seen on...

MODEL 121 S..... or 12 CS Remington Special Caliber
Is there a 12 or 121 ROUND BARREL gun that sports a crescent butt plate? I found a pic of a gun listed only as a Remington Special 22 pump. It has a round barrel and a crescent butt ? As many of these guns are not marked as a 12 or 121; I am thinking they read the barrel ammo signature ? Possibly a ...

Re: Which is better?
Be like the rest of us get a few of them all. Although I own several 12's: the action changes in the 121 make it a little better I think. Model 121's are much newer. I hear a worn 12 is not alot of fun.

Model 12 CS ejector
This 1917 12CS I recently found does not have nor is it machined for an ejector spring. It looks as it uses the rear trigger guard housing to eject spent shells. Are all SPECIAL CARTRIDGE guns like this? Ejection is less than satisfactory. Any tips on getting this 90 year old spitting lead again. Di...
