Re: 43 Spanish Rolling Block Load Data
Use it as you would Black.. Slight compression, no need for grease cookies, wads or lubricated bullets... No yuck in your barrel, no need to wipe after shot, no stink, no black gunk on your hands... Great for muzzleloaders too.. {no I dont' have stock in company} Hope this helps.. Rick

Re: 43 Spanish Rolling Block Load Data
.. I use Aliant MZ a black powder replacement.. Lower pressure than smokeless powder and. you get smoke, and it is easier to clean than black. A damp patch [water] and then a dry one or two and oil her up..... Good luck.

Re: 12.7x44
Couple more... Action will close on a new Dixie 50/70 empty case that has not been resized... Any thoughts on cases.. I have read that I could use Lee 50 cal REAL bullet.. I have that mold.. I tried a bullet and it should be a decent fit for this rifle..

Re: Odd Roller markings
tjack. I think your right.. The previous owner mentioned Dixie, But seemed unsure.. It came with home made but nice set of dies and some cases... One question... The firing pin seems to stick in the fired postion and has to be tapped back to unfired position .. Is this common and a easy fix.. I have...

Re: Odd Roller markings
It has a later style extractor... I believe.. I'm new to rolling blocks. No extractor screw on left side of rec. No concave section on breech block. No firing pin screw on breech block either. Seems to have an early style rear sight but it could have been relplaced. It is installed backwards on the ...
