Does anyone have a source for .321" round nose jacketed bullets? All that I've found are the flat-points.
TIA

Re: 870 Left Hand Model Barrel Interchange
The "forend tube assembly," bolt "slide assembly," & forends are different on the Police Model I have compared to a recently manufactured one; both which were disassembled & compared side-by-side. The current example's bolt slide assy has a cutout area that corresponds to...

Re: 870 Left Hand Model Barrel Interchange
On a somewhat related note: I recently acquired a factory-new 18.5" bead sight bbl for an early '80s 870P with 20" rifle sight bbl. The finish was different (not mil-spec parkerized) than the original, but I figured no problem, I can deal with a 2-tone shotgun. The bbl went on fine and loo...

Re: First blood for my 141
I know the feeling; one can never have enough 141s...and I've gained a recent affinity for the .32s.

Re: Remington Model 11 recoil spring
Thanks again for your help.
I've found several sources that list the spring, but to find who has an original Remington one in stock may be challenging.

Remington Model 11 recoil spring
Hello again: I have a 16 gauge Model 11 that I believe may need a replacement recoil spring. When reassembling, there is virtually no downward pressure needed on the bbl in order to reinstall the forend. Question: Approximately how tall shoud the spring be when measured? I understand a 12 gauge spri...

Re: Model 17 Info Needed
Thanks for your prompt input Researcher. I've been looking at a particular Model 17 with checkered buttstock & ringed forend. Based upon its appearance (i.e. wood color & uniform wear), and in conjunction with your info, & my limited research, its very likely original. Are these uncommon...

Model 17 Info Needed
The materials at my disposal indicate it originally came with a plain buttstock and ribbed forestock. However, I've noted several photos of 17s with checkered forestocks & buttstocks very similar in appearance to those on the Model 29. Others appear to have the checkering pattern of the Model 29...

Re: Another Notch in the Stock (Buck with Model 14)
Great story! Thanks for sharing. Here's mine: I only had a few days in the woods this year with no pre-planning whatsoever (hunted two new locations; no time to pick a spot for my tree stand, etc.). Anyway, I slowly walked out onto the leeward side of the power line early one morning taking only sev...

Re: Model 760 buttplate color??
...i have several from the 50's and love them. if you find a early gun in good, original shape for a reasonable price, buy it. i do. Sounds great! I do and will. I've got my "sights" on a really nice one which I'll hopefully have by next week. And now that I'm ready to part with the $$ fo...

Re: Model 760 buttplate color??
I believe that the original ones were metallic and painted, and that they could have been made out of brass. / who knows, who cares? The first models were not the most popular and are not really a collectors grade - the chances of finding a collectors grade Deluxe BDL is extremely rare. Those guns ...

Model 760 buttplate color??
Greetings all:
I was looking at a Model 760 mfg'd circa 1954, and noticed that the outside circumference of the butt plate was colored gold.
Any thoughts/comments? Does that sound original/correct??
TIA
