questionable vets charity

I received a phone call from a telemarketer hired by the National Veterans Advocacy Foundation. I researched the organization and found that basically all they do is duplicate programs that the DAV, VFW, American Legion, AmVets, Marine Corps League, and VA offer at no charge. While it is likely that...

Re: d j x 510-P

If you have a 510-P the DJ means Sept 1940 . Rem didn't make any 510s in 1962. The "X" version was introduced in 1964, but not with the point-crometer sight. I am convinced that Rem added another letter or symbol just to confuse us. In other words, I have no idea what the "X" stands for. According ...

d j x 510-P

If I understand correctly D is September, J is 1962 but what does the assembly code X mean?

Nylon 10C magazine

I bought a 10C without a magazine. I thought I had it on good authority that magazines marked for the model 77 would function in a 10 C, so I bought a 5 round from Numrich and a 10 round from an online auction. Today I tried to fire the rifle and got poor results with both mags. Both magazines seem ...

Celsuis 41.11 A good movie, worth supporting

It debunks basically all of Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 for the revolting garbage that it is, and exposes the manifold falsehoods and conflicts of interest in the Kerry campaign (including Moore's tacit shilling for Kerry through his film). It was created by Citizens United, a non-profit group d...

John Gyde very kindly answered the email I sent to Roy Marcot.

This gun was produced in 1949 and he estimated the value at around $600, so my asking price at the auction of $450 is in the ball park.
