I'll take a look today and get pix... I know it had a scope on it for many years, so the front was tapped...not sure if the rear was already or not. I was curious on s/n's....I see another 722/300S with a lower serial number (30,xxx) but a later production date (4/48)....compared to mine. I was curi...

41,1xx 722 300 Savage BTT 1/48

It was a gift from my grandfather to my father for a birthday gift....a looong time ago! Still has the Redfield peep sight on it.

New from St. Louis

I recently received a 722 300 Savage, that my dad got for his 16th birthday...in '49....It seemed this would be a great place to learn all things Remington! It dates to Jan '48 (BTT) I'll defer questions to the proper thread. Just say'n "hi"!
