I'm not sure if this is a cheap knock-off... or a priceless heirloom.. lol. Please excuse me if I've put this up on the site before, I have tried several sites with little results on this rifle, an had trouble uploading pix for it No markings at all, except on right side of barrel near the breech......

I have a carbine sized gun. No markings on it except caliber on the barrel:.... very spaced out.... 4 4 4 0 W C F From muzzle to top end of the stock is 35 1/2". It doesn't have orginal sights and I believe the wood has been glossed up. Does anyone have any idea what this is? It looks similar t...

I have two rolling block rifles
The first is a Rem. model 4 .22 short long with an "S" ...which I'm sure is an add on... and a more modern rear sight...

I suspect that my rolling block carbine is a cheap knock-off... it is un marked except for ... 44-40 WCF... sights appear to be changed and no saddle ring... anyone have any ideas about it? I am new here...tried to upload pix of carbine... no joy.. but do have pix on Flickr under ( desertsun69 ) if ...
