Model 25 failure to feed. Need help

I have a Remington Model 25 in .25-20 that I recently purchased. I bought some new Remington brass and Meister lead bullets; full length resized, roll crimped, proper C.O.L. etc. I developed a nice load but the darned cartridges will not feed. Re: Remington Model 51 .380 chrome or nickel plate finish?

I worked on a nickel Remington that walked out of the factory in someone's lunch box. It made it about four blocks, where it resided for 70 years in a cigar box full of spare 51 parts. Some of the spare parts were nickel...magazine, backstrap, pins. It was a nice looking gun.

Re: Model 700 KS

My brother and I both have custom KS's in .280 Rem. They are lightweight and extremely accurate. My absolute favorite big game rifle. The .280 is an awesome cartridge, needless to say. At $900 that is a pretty good deal. Not too many out there. They were expensive even back then.

I have several Remington pumps and a couple of 81's. Is there a member of the forum who is gathering info for a datab...

Serialization of stocks

Did the numbers on the stocks always match the serial numbers on the frame on the model 12's, 14's, 8's etc? I have come across a couple of higher grade special order guns where the numbers didn't match but everything else pointed to it being original (ie provenance from orig owner, fit, finish etc)...

Hi all, Just wanted to introduce myself. My interests are mostly with the model 51's, 12's, 121's, 25's, 141's and 81's. I have always thought Remingtons were more appealing than the Winchesters. I live in central NY not far from the Ilion plant. I look forward to learning and contributing in this f...
