Re: Info on Model 141 Grade E
It is a beautiful 141E, quite different from my Ennis engraved 141E. I believe mine is a bit later. I believe it now lives in Delaware. Bill Murphy

Re: Info on Model 141 Grade E
My 141 E was signed by Carl Ennis with his characteristic "E" in the engraving. It's too bad that your gun is missing its E grade stock and forend.

Re: Remington Model 32 Shotguns
The Runge 32 in the coming auction seems to be buffed up a bit. Does anyone see it differently than I do?

Re: Remington Model 32 Shotguns
In my 60 years experience, I would estimate 45% field, 40% skeet, and 15% trap. Lots of skeet guns out there, but not many 28" barrel skeets.

Re: Info on Model 141 Grade E
Sorry I never got pictures of my 141E sent to Gene. The gun was sold to a Delaware collector before the pictures could be taken. It was an outrageous gun and I would like to have it back. I think the ribbed forend was a one of a kind on a graded gun, but clearly original because of the extra fancy ...

Re: Carl Ennis engraved Model 141
Reluctantly, I sold the ultra rare 141E, Ennis engraved .35 Remington. I would like to have it back, but I think the new owner would not think the same way.

Re: Carl Ennis engraved Model 141
I guess no one is interested in these guns, like a 141E, a 10E two barrel set, or a 10F two barrel set owned by John Phillip Sousa. I guess I'm out of here.

Re: Carl Ennis engraved Model 141
Gene, I have recently purchased a very nice 10E two barrel set. I wonder how scarce they are? I still own the John Phillip Sousa 10F that I wrote about in the RSA Journal and they look great together.

Re: Model 32F Dilemma
I have seen Krieghoff gunsmiths build up and recut trunnion openings while I watched. Maybe they would do a Remington for you. They seem to think it is a normal piece of gunsmithing.

Re: Wanted: Wilbur Cox poster
Wow. Here it is six years later and I found my Wilbur Cox poster at a down south auction last month. I had to pay for it, but it is worth it to have my display complete with tin Indian, poster, and target coins. There is also a photo of another Remington pro included.

Re: Carl Ennis engraved Model 141
Gene, is there any more information about E Grade 141s? I am not active in RSA affairs any more, but I hope you enjoyed my article on the Sousa 10F.

Re: 870 sungrain stocks
I think I have a stock around here somewhere. I would like to find a Sun Grain 870 forend so I can put a gun together.

Sounds like a serial number to me. If it is on the bottom of the receiver, that is what it is.

Re: 870 sungrain stocks
Thanks for this great information. By the way, the field grade 20 magnum may have actually been the production figures for the standard 20. My 20 gauge skeet is pretty rare, but I would still like to find a Not So Rare 12 gauge skeet to match it.

Re: Need help with my new 121
What is this chamber iron you describe. I am looking for a 121 mechanic because my gun will not lock into battery. It fires OK unlocked. Any ideas?
