I have what I thought to be known as a Pre Mod 12 serial number # 297048 with RW above. Using the serial number look up it looks like 1915. But it looks like the barrel code is PL Which I think would be 1920 ?? I am not sure about what production date would be ?? Round barrel Nickle plated receiver ...

From what I have seen in the Magnum caliber guns only the first and possibly second year guns had 23.5 inch barrels and those barrels were not marked "Stainless" under caliber designation. From then on they were 24"
