Beware of scammers.

I recently inherited my father-in-law's shotguns. Among them is a Remington 11-48 12ga 28". The date code on the barrel does not seem to match anything in the standard chart. Or maybe I just don't know enough. Either way, I am hoping someone more knowledgeable can help identify the manufacture date ...
