Model Seven in 30-06?

Post by kenmack »

I see where a shop has two M7s for sale online and states that they are 30-06. I emailed for confirmation and again was told that they are 30-06. The photos look to be short actions. Did Remington ever make the model seven and model seven ss in 30-06?

No. All M7s are short action. Have been made in both the Rem. and Win. short action magnums though.

That was my thought too. I'm not sure what is going on there whether the rifles were customized, rebarreled and rechambered, or just mischaracterized.
