Remington model 700 ADL

Post by joe.l »

bought at a gun show about 3 years ago model 700 ADL in .222 rem., very good condition , with redfield straight 12 X scope , paid $430 FOR THE RIFLE AND SCOPE AND JUST ADDED A SLING , MADE UP SOME HANDLOADS ( 19 grains of IMR4198 , CCI small rifle primer , Hornady V-max bullets , 50 grain boattails ) f.p.s. is around 2980 and this rifle groups them at 1/3 of an inch at 100 yards from the bench , these 700's are really great rifles , this one a keeper for life ....later Joe

Yes, the 222 rem. Is known to be one of the most accurate calibers. For some reason some people have some screws loose upstairs and they want to drill them out to 223s.there are always people out there that just can't leave things alone. Glad to hear its working out for you. Great gun great caliber.
