Rare Rolling Block

Post by joel_black »

I thought some of you might enjoy seeing my rather rare 32/40 rolling block, serial number 5238.

Its the only advantage of getting old. I started collecting single shots 50 years ago when I was 18 years old. It was easier to find nice affordable guns 30 and 40 years ago than it is now.

Joel,
What style buttplate does your Rolling Block have? Lots of neat features, especially the pistol grip checkered wood, and the single set trigger!

It has a steel shotgun butt. I'll post a photo of it tomorrow.

As you can see it has a very thin metal shotgun buttplate.
