remington new model

i have a remington new model army. it was converted to cartridge. it has 2 serial numbers. one is 141989. and the other is 4215 and is stamped in front of the loading lever on the barrel. i have put the gun back to percussion with replica parts. any info would be appreciated. what year would it have been made? i do know the gun came from england to canada in the 50's.

thanks for the reply. is the year on the 6 digit # or the 4#. the 6 digit is the main number. on the barrel and on the frame.

The serial number is the 6 digit number, The 4 digit number is the conversion number. Jay RSA
